Seminar on “Hyperspectral Imaging” at VSU
On November 12, Institute of Physiology NAS RA named after L. A. Orbeli held a seminar on “Hyperspectral Imaging” for students and professors of Vanadzor State University within the framework of the “Building a Biomedical Imaging Network for Former Soviet Countries” project implemented with a grant from the “Chan Zuckerberg Initiative” Foundation. The head of the project, principal investigator of NAS RA named after L. A. Orbeli, professor of the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology of George Washington University (USA) presented the lecture on “Hyperspectral imaging method in intravascular heart surgery”. During the seminar, Sergey Fedotov (“The use of laser scanning confocal microscopy as a means of neuron visualization”) and Gevorg Drnoyan (“Biomedical imaging methods”) also gave lectures.
Professors of the Chair of Chemistry and Biology and students of “Biology” and “Pharmaceutical Chemistry” specialties attended the seminar and got acquainted with the equipment and imaging technologies.
