Final Competition Of Business Ideas

On December 19 and 20, Erasmus+ “Connecting universities-industry through smart entrepreneurial cooperation and competitive intelligence of students in Moldova, Georgia and Armenia” CONNECT project organized a competition of business ideas in Sofia, Bulgaria, which was the last event of the project.

Accompanied by the project’s local coordinator Gohar Dokholyan and the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, project member Hrayr Papoyan, the representatives of the two winning teams of the “Digital Business” competition held on December 1 and 2 in Yerevan participated in the ceremony: students Mane Khanumyan, Silva Melkonyan and Marieta Virabyan. As members of Smart Caffe, the students worked hard on their business ideas and presented two startup ideas: “Easy join”, which contributed to creating a public transport app, and “Fine Dining”, which aimed to support restaurant business owners through a website. Although the startups of the participants of VSU did not manage to appear in the list of the first five best startup ideas, the students carried out all the preparations with great enthusiasm and responsibility and presented their business ideas winning the appreciation of the jury and the audience.
