Official signing Ceremony of an MoU between Vanadzor State University after H. Tumanyan (VSU) and International Cultural Communication Center Malaysia (ICCCM)

On July 28, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between “Vanadzor State University after H. Tumanyan” Foundation and the International Cultural Communication Center Malaysia (ICCCM). The ceremony was held in an online format.

The representatives from ICCCM were Ms Loo Hui Ann, Managing Director; Mr Nasridini Asliddin, Regional Manager, and Ms Arinna Erisa Binti Tarmizi, Business Development Executive. The VSU were representing Dr. habil. Armen Tsaturyan, Rector; Dr Lusik Vardanyan, Rector’s Advisor on Internationalisation; Dr Gohar Dokholyan, Head of Interantionailsation, Cooperation, Project Management and Public Relations Centre; Ms Lilit Parsadanyan, Head of Educational Reforms, Lifelong Learning and Career Centre, as well as Mr Anzhela Ter-Movsisyan, International Cooperation and Grants Promotion Specialist.

The VSU Rector welcomed the partners and noted that the university has traditionally cooperated with institutions from Europe and the CIS countries. He stressed that launching its first collaboration with an organization from an Asian country marks an important strategic milestone, broadening the university’s international partnerships and opening new opportunities for academic and intercultural cooperation.

The signing ceremony was followed by a discussion during which the parties touched upon the main directions for future cooperation. They agreed to hold more detailed discussions in the near future regarding the organization of joint programs and events, as well as the practical implementation of the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding.
