The “Competitive Intelligence Program” was implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE “Connecting universities-industry through smart entrepreneurial cooperation and competitive intelligence of students in Moldova, Georgia and Armenia (CONNECT)” project from October 10 to December 12, 2022.
The project consisted of three courses:
- Leadership and Art Skills Development Course,
- Business Acceleration Course,
- Digital Skills Development Course.
All three courses were conducted in a hybrid format combining synchronous and asynchronous instruction; this was a pilot program for VSU and other Eastern Partnership universities.
The courses were developed by 12 employees of the university who made study visits to different EU universities.
During the in-person sessions, course participants had the chance to meet with prosperous businessmen who shared their experiences with all the difficulties, challenges they faced with.
On February 13, certificates were handed over to 21 participants of the course.
Varduhi Hovsepyan, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, congratulated the students on acquiring new skills related to the field of entrepreneurship and noted that the participants are full members of SMART CAFFE, thus their active involvement in the creation of business ideas of the university is very important.
Gohar Dokholyan, the project’s local coordinator, also emphasized the significance of students’ active interest and urged them to work with greater enthusiasm.
On the initiative of VSU Rector, Professor Rustam Saakyan, small work groups of students have already been created. R. Saakyan and H. Papoyan (Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences) regularly organize informative meetings with those students.
The second part of Competitive Intelligence Program will start after March 15.
