Visit of Lori Regional Rescue Department employees to Vanadzor State University

On April 9, 2025, a seminar was held at Vanadzor State University on the topics “Safety Rules During and After Floods” and “Warning Signals.”

The seminar was conducted by Major Vladimir Dagbashyan, Deputy Commander of Rescue Squad No. 2 of Vanadzor, and Senior Lieutenant Karen Avetisyan, Senior Instructor at the Crisis Management Center of the Lori Regional Rescue Department.

The event was attended by Lusine Kostandyan, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Vanadzor State University, Martun Virabyan, Safety Engineer, PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Chair of Arts and Sports, as well as university and college staff and students.

The speakers discussed the most common natural disasters in the region and the basic safety rules during emergencies. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of every family having a Family Emergency Preparedness Plan.
