Training Courses for Lecturers at VSU
The courses of qualification improvement for VSU administrative staff and lecturers are organized according to the “Procedure of qualification improvement and training of academic staff, support and administrative staff”. The courses are conducted by the Center of Educational Reforms and Trainings of VSU.
The courses are implemented in 4 components, the duration of each component is 18 hours.
“Methodology of Scientific Research” training course started on April 9 and will end on April 30. The course is conducted by Varduhi Hovsepyan, Vice-rector for Scientific Affairs of the University. The training is up-to-date and 58 participants of the academic staff are involved in this course, so it is conducted in 2 groups.
The course is very relevant, because during the course the trainees revealed how to plan and carry out scientific research processes, how to search for high-ranking journals in Scopus and Web of Science databases, formulate and submit a scientific article for publication there, what is the h-index, ORCID, and also became familiar with the principles of effective grant writing.
