The Two-Day Course “Development of Research Skills for Young Researchers and Academic Leaders” has ended.
On November 16 and 17, the two-day course “Development of Research Skills for Young Researchers and Academic Leaders” was organized in Vanadzor. The seminar took place at the initiative of the “Polisinet” Research Center and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, in cooperation with the Association for European Studies in the Caucasus (AESC) and Vanadzor State University after H.Tumanyan.
At the event, Stephan Malerius, Director of the Regional Program “Political Dialogue South Caucasus” of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung/Foundation, Varduhi Hovsepyan, Vanadzor State University Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Professor Thomas Kruessmann, President of the Association for European Studies in the Caucasus (AESC) and Magda Arsenyan, co-founder of the Polisinet Research Center, gave welcome speeches.
The opening of the event was heralded by the discussion of the importance of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research in the context of research and the development of researchers’ potential by the examples of Armenia and Georgia.
Students, researchers and academic leaders of Lori region were the target audience of the course.
The purpose of the two-day course was to contribute to the implementation of modern scientific research in social science and the development of constructive policies.
