The Opening of the Auditorium of Economics after Professor V. L. Harutyunyan (the Corresponding Member of RA NAS, Doctor of Economic Sciences)

By the decision of the May 2024 scientific council of Vanadzor State University named after Hovhannes Tumanyan, auditorium 210 was named after Professor V. L. Harutyunyan, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Corresponding Member of RA NAS. After the naming, under the patronage of his son Davit Harutyunyan, Doctor of Economic Sciences, the auditorium was completely renovated and furnished.

On October 18, the opening ceremony of the auditorium took place. Davit Harutyunyan, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Meri Manucharyan, Director of the Institute of Economics after M. Kotanyan, Professor Ashot Markosyan, Doctor of Economic Sciences, and the widow of Vladimir Harutyunyan. Rector of VSU Rustam Saakyan expressed his gratitude towards the sponsor Davit Harutyunyan and emphasized the importance of creating professional audiences. Several speeches were also made about the life and activities of Vladimir Harutyunyan.
