The Conference entitled “Discovering the Research Potential of Young Scientists”
Vanadzor State University hosted the 12th republican scientific session of VSU SSS (Student Scientific Society) entitled “Revealing the research potential of young scientists”.
Varduhi Hovsepyan, Vice-Rector for Scientific Works of the university, gave a welcome speech at the plenary session. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of holding similar conferences for promoting students’ scientific research work and generating their interest in science.
Lena Harutyunyan, president of the VSU SSS, also welcomed the participants, thanking the Goris, Gavar, Artsakh state universities, the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema, the Armenian-Russian University, the Academy of the Police Educational Complex, for their active participation in the student conference.
Alla Tsatinyan from Vanadzor State University and Roza Abrahamyan from Gavar State University presented the reports. Afterwards the work in chairs started and in total 69 students presented their reports.
It is noteworthy that under the conditions of the blockade, the students of Artsakh State University also took part in the conference and presented 24 reports.
At the end of the ceremony the participants received certificates, and guests – some symbolic gifts. The conference day culminated with the joint visit to Lori-Pambak geological museum in Vanadzor.
