The Concert of «Biaina» Choir dedicated to the Motherhood and Beauty Day
On the occasion of Motherhood and Beauty Day, Vanadzor State University «Biaina» Choir performed a festive concert. The choir was led by Sergey Harutyunyan, and accompanied by Karine Yeritsyan.
Gurgen Khachatryan’s composition «The Mother» marked the beginning of the concert.
The repertoire of the event included works in Armenian, Russian and French. The audience listened to songs from the repertoire of Khachatur Avetisyan, Kara-Murza, Komitas, Makar Ekmalyan, Aram Khachatryan, Tatul Altunyan, Armen Tigranyan, Barsegh Kanachyan, Hovhannes Badalyan and Frenkel.
At the end of the concert, Hrayr Papoyan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, handed over the certificates of appreciation to the students and professors of the «Fine Art» and «Music» majors for their active participation in the events dedicated to the International Francophonie Day, as well as for their participation in the exhibition.
The students who showed the best results in the championship of «Bullet shooting» dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia were also awarded.
