The Award Ceremony of the Winners of the Recitation Contest dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Charles Aznavour’s Birth
On December 5, the award ceremony of the winners of the recitation contest dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Charles Aznavour’s birth was held in the hall of the Vanadzor H. Tumanyan State University Foundation.
The Rector of the University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Rustam Saaakyan, Vice-rector for Scientific Affairs, Varduhi Hovsepyan, Head of the Research, Innovation and Cooperation Department Armenuhi Harutyunyan, Coordinator-specialist for University-School relations Aida Iskandaryan, chairwoman of the Jury Committee Gayane Malumyan and committee member Elfik Zohrabyan attended the event.
Out of 65 students participating in the contest, the best 17 were awarded certificates, and the students who took the prize places were awarded certificates of honor and symbolic gifts.
Rector of “Vanadzor State University after H. Tumanyan” Foundation, Rustam Saakyan, congratulated the participants and wished them motivation for the next contests.
Ashot Hayrapetyan, the winner of the contest, once again recited an excerpt from the work “Aznavour about Aznavour”.
The Chairwoman of the Jury Committee, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Gayane Malumyan congratulated the participants and called on them to actively participate in the upcoming poetry festival.
