The 7th International Conference entitled “Language and Literature in the Context of Intercultural Communication” was held at Vanadzor State University
The 7th international conference entitled “Language and Literature in the Context of Intercultural Communication” was held on October 18 at the initiative of the Chair of Foreign Languages and Literature at Vanadzor State University.
The opening speech was given by Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of Vanadzor State University, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Varduhi Hovsepyan. Rector of the university, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Rustam Sahakyan also gave a speech of welcome.
The plenary session of the 7th international conference was introduced by the Head of the Department of Romano-Germanic Philology of Tomsk State University, Doctor of Philology, Professor Natalia Nikonova, with the report “Iconology and Comparisons as frontier domains of research”.
The third report of the plenary session of the conference was presented by the Head of the Chair of Foreign Languages and Literature of Vanadzor State University, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Tadevos Tadevosyan. The topic of the report was “F. Dostoevsky as a postmodernist quest hero in Pelevin’s novel ‘T’ ”.
After the plenary session, the process continued in the professional departments. The entire course of the conference was also broadcast online.
At the end of the conference, participation certificates were handed over to the speakers.
