“Teach for Armenia” at Vanadzor State University

On October 3, the representatives of the “Teach for Armenia” educational foundation had an informative meeting with the students of VSU. The objective of the event was to increase the level of awareness among students about the “Teach for Armenia” educational foundation. Arevik Prazyan, the career development coordinator, presented the idea and mission of the program, the procedure for applying to the program, the requirements, the stages of selection and further activities.

The representative of the foundation explained that within the framework of the program, teachers gain two years’ practice of teaching at school, as well as experience in implementing community development programs, financial support, and pedagogic qualification. Arevik Prazyan presented information about “Serund” schools, “Kayts” social innovation incubator and STEM scholarship, to which students can apply.
