Students of Vanadzor State University were awarded

On May 13, Vanadzor State University Acting Rector Rustam Saakyan presented certificates to first- and second-year students of the Physical Education and Sports Training specialty.

At the European Youth Sambo Championship held in Limassol, Cyprus from April 21-28, Mher Ohanyan took 1st place in the 71 kg weight category, Seyran Sarukhanyan took 2nd place in the 88 kg weight category, Arshak Bekchyan took 2nd place in the 64 kg weight category, and Erik Saghatelyan took 3rd place in the 98 kg weight category.

Hrayr Papoyan, the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, and Arman Barseghyan, the Head of the Chair of Arts and Sports, were also present at the meeting. Rustam Saakyan congratulated our students for their active participation, honorable positions, and victory.
