Pi Day Celebration at Vanadzor State University

On March 14, a special event dedicated to Pi Day took place in the assembly hall of Vanadzor State University, with the participation of third-year students from the “Preschool Education” department of the university’s college.

It is also worth noting that March 14 marks the birthday of Albert Einstein, the founder of the theory of relativity.

The event highlighted the significance of mathematics as a symbol in our lives specifically and in the Universe generally. The organizer of the event was Zemfira Margaryan, a lecturer at the college.

Additionally, students from the Faculty of Natural Sciences visited various university departments, shared information about the characteristics of the number π, congratulated the university staff, exchanged mutual greetings, and treated everyone to cookies with a special message for the day.
