Top Shooters Awarded at University Championship

On March 11, Vanadzor State University held a closing ceremony for its shooting championship conducted from March 2–6.

Participants with the best results were awarded medals and certificates by Rector Armen Tsaturyan, who highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting physical training, competitive spirit, and patriotic values.

The competition was organized by the “Chair of Arts and Sports and included students from three faculties, as well as the VSU gymnasium and college.

The aim of the championship was to promote shooting sports at the University and select top performers to represent VSU at the 27th National Student Tournament in Yerevan.

Results:
In the team category, the Faculty of Social Sciences placed first, followed by the Faculty of Natural Sciences, and the VSU gymnasium team in third place.

In the individual category, Aram Harutyunyan won the first place among men, followed by Artur Harutyunyan and Roman Mayilyan. Among women, Lena Poghosyan took first place, followed by Meri Sisakyan and Lusine Voskanyan.

Vanadzor State University congratulates all winners and wishes them continued success.
