Exhibition of VSU Graduates’ Creative Works Held at the Vanadzor Museum of Fine Arts
On 3 June, the Carlos Abovyan Museum of Fine Arts of Vanadzor hosted the exhibition “A Young Perspective”, featuring diploma projects by graduates of Vanadzor State University (VSU) from different years. The exhibition was organized within the framework of cooperation between VSU and the Vanadzor Museum of Fine Arts and aimed to further expand and diversify collaboration between the educational and cultural sectors.
The opening speech was delivered by Hrayr Papoyan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at VSU, Associate Professor and Candidate of Economic Sciences. A welcoming address was also delivered by Papag Aloyan, painter and member of the Artists’ Union of Armenia, who highly praised the works presented by the graduates and emphasized the importance of such exhibitions in fostering the creative development of young artists. During the event, Vahan Shahbazyan, Senior Lecturer at the Chair of Arts and Sport of VSU, highlighted the significance of arts education and the opportunities it provides for developing students’ creative potential.
The closing remarks were delivered by Anatoli Avetyan, Honoured Artist of the Republic of Armenia, and member of the Board of the Artists’ Union of Armenia, which is affiliated with the International Association of Artists of UNESCO. He highly commended the efforts of both the students and the faculty members and wished them continued success and new achievements.
Following the official ceremony, guests toured the exhibition hall and viewed the displayed works, which stood out for their thematic and stylistic diversity, original artistic solutions, and creative approaches. The exhibition once again underscored the importance of cooperation between educational and cultural institutions, contributing to the promotion of young artists and the wider appreciation of art.
