A Classroom Renovated by the “Susanna Sargsyan” Charitable Foundation Officially Opened at Vanadzor State University

On December 23, 2025, an official opening ceremony was held at Vanadzor State University for a renovated and fully furnished classroom of the Chair of Economics, Law, and Management, refurbished with the support of the “Susanna Sargsyan” Charitable Foundation.

The initiative was implemented by Hovhannes Danielyan, founder and head of the Lori branch of the “Mantashyants” Business Club.

As noted by Hrayr Papoyan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences: “The classroom is primarily intended for entrepreneurship-oriented courses. There are photographs of prominent Armenian entrepreneurs, led by Alexander Mantashyants, who are not only embodiments of entrepreneurship, success, and talent, but were also major benefactors and supporters of education and culture. They should serve as role models and benchmarks for our students. This initiative is an important example of the culture of philanthropy and an inspiring message to society.”

The University Rector, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Armen Tsaturyan, delivered a welcoming address. He emphasized that improving the educational environment is a key prerequisite for effective learning, and that the support provided to education by business representatives reflects their strong values and sense of social responsibility. The Rector expressed his gratitude to the author of the initiative and noted that the University is open to similar forms of cooperation.

In his speech, Hovhannes Danielyan stated that the foundation’s priority areas include the development of education, sports, and communities. He also announced a new initiative, informing that approximately 15 university students will be eligible to receive scholarships established by the foundation in the near future.

Cooperation between higher education institutions and the business community once again demonstrates its potential to have a significant impact on enhancing the quality of education.
