Laboratory of Inorganic, Analytical, and Physical Chemistry Reopens at Vanadzor State University
On June 3, 2025, a ceremonial reopening of the Laboratory of Inorganic, Analytical, and Physical Chemistry took place at the Vanadzor State University Foundation named after H. Tumanyan. The laboratory is part of the Chair of Chemistry and Biology.
Acting Rector of the University, Rustam Saakyan, along with representatives of the academic and administrative staff and students attended the event.
In his welcoming speech, Acting Rector Rustam Saakyan greeted the attendees, the faculty, and students of the Chair, and wished them a productive and engaging academic experience in the newly renovated laboratory, now equipped with modern facilities.
Professor of Chemistry and Biology and Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Hrachik Ghazaryan, also delivered a welcoming address.
Head of the Chair of Chemistry and Biology, Armine Ghazaryan, delievered a speech at the event as well. She noted that the laboratory is now equipped with a wide range of instruments, enabling not only chemistry and biology students but also those from related fields, including master’s and doctoral students, to conduct research. With its enhanced capabilities, the laboratory will significantly contribute to the advancement of the chair’s educational programs and the improvement of scientific research. A. Ghazaryan expressed her gratitude to the university Acting Rector for his support in the laboratory’s renovation and re-equipment.
Vitalina Samsonova, a student in the “Pharmaceutical Chemistry” program, presented a short video highlighting that the reopening of the laboratory marks an important milestone in inspiring students to pursue scientific research. The upgraded facility creates opportunities to elevate both the educational and research processes. It is here that many students begin their academic journey.
