INTERESTING CONVERSATION WITH ARPINE HAKOBYAN ABOUT SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND CSO SECTOR

On May 29, Arpine Hakobyan, the president of the “NGO Center” civil society development NGO, was hosted at the SMART CAFFE, Vanadzor State University after H. Tumanyan. The guest briefly presented the activities of their organization, funding sources, community events organized by the NGO.

A special reference was made to the description of the nature of social entrepreneurship, the need to approve the regulation on social entrepreneurship in RA and many other issues. Aiming to develop and reveal the potential of the rural community of Lori region, the NGO Center founded the TUC-Tourism Unique Center social enterprise located in Dsegh village. The information and experience provided would enable students to get involved in the initiatives in the field of social entrepreneurship and for some students to come up with their own unique projects.

Having learned about the courses conducted within the “Competitive Knowledge Program” of the Erasmus+ CONNECT project, the guest gladly expressed her willingness to visit SMART CAFFE again to talk about the secrets of public speech.
