“A Frank Conversation with Lori Region Marzpet”. Meeting with the VSU Students.
On May 13, 2025, Lori Region Marzpet, Mr. Aram Ghazaryan visited Vanadzor State University.
During the visit, Acting Rector of the University, Professor Rustam Saakyan, emphasized the value and significance of such engagements with students, highlighting their role in shaping informed and active citizens.
Mr. Ghazaryan held an open and sincere dialogue with the students, addressing a range of important and timely issues. He spoke about the current state of education in the Republic of Armenia, with a particular focus on the Lori region, and touched upon societal challenges and the possible solutions to address them. He shared his vision for the development of the region, including the city of Vanadzor, and underlined the essential role of youth in regional progress. The discussion culminated in a thought-provoking reflection on a fundamental question: Where does the Motherland begin?
The gusest also discussed both the challenges and achievements across various sectors of the region and the city—including education, healthcare, agriculture, and tourism. He encouraged students not to limit themselves to the knowledge acquired during their academic years but to engage in lifelong learning, strive for personal and professional development, and remain competitive in the job market. His message was clear: an educated and civic-minded generation is key to building a resilient and forward-looking nation.
