Meeting with Employers
On 5th of November 2025, a meeting with employers was held at the SMART Caffe of Vanadzor State University named after H. Tumanyan. Students of the VSU College, as well as representatives of a number of organizations and companies from the region attended the event.
The Acting Rector of the University, Armen Tsaturyan, delivered welcoming remarks. He emphasized the importance of students’ professional internships and the development of practical skills, noting that theoretical knowledge must be complemented by hands-on experience. He further highlighted that the specialties offered at the College align with the demands of the labor market, stressing the need for joint planning with employers to ensure the competitiveness of future graduates.
Arevik Lokyan, Director of the Vanadzor State University College, addressed the aims of cooperation with employers and the expected outcomes. Career and Professional Orientation Consultant Hermine Melikyan presented the College’s academic programs and corresponding qualifications.
Subsequently, employers shared their views and recommendations regarding the educational programs of the respective specialties, emphasizing the skills and competencies required in today’s labor market.
As a result of the discussion, employers put forward several proposals and identified potential avenues for further cooperation.
