Training for External Partners within the DeSiRe Project

On November 4, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Capacity-Building project “Development of Soft Skills at Higher Education Institutions of Armenia and Georgia in Compliance with the 21st Century Labour Market Requirements” (DeSiRe), a training session was organized for external partners, with representatives of educational institutions of Vanadzor participating.

The session started with the welcoming remarks from the DeSiRe project coordinator, Lusik Vardanyan. She emphasized the importance of soft-skills development in today’s labour market and presented the project’s core objectives and the work completed to date.

Staff members of Vanadzor State University who underwent training at four European universities (within the frames of the project) briefly introduced the content of the modules being developed, as well as the structure of the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs).

An interactive “Icebreaker” activity followed, after which participants were given a group practical task. This exercise helped them fully grasp the necessity of developing the soft skills presented during the session.
