Modern higher education requires continuous adaptation to the dynamic changes in the economic, social, and professional priorities. A key task of universities is to train specialists capable of responding flexibly and effectively to evolving industry demands.

The effectiveness of the educational process depends on multiple factors, among which the selection of appropriate teaching methods is crucial. Traditional methods often fail to meet the challenges of modern vocational training, highlighting the importance of interactive approaches. Among these, the “case study” method has proven particularly effective in tourism education.

This article examines the application of the “case study” method in university tourism programs. Combining elements of brainstorming, debates, and gamification, the method allows students to apply theoretical knowledge to analyze real professional scenarios, develop critical thinking, and improve decision-making skills.

Successful implementation requires careful planning, structured guidance, and adequate resources. Expanding the use of the “case study” method in Armenian higher education can enhance the practical training of students, better preparing them for professional challenges and increasing their competitiveness in the tourism sector.
