Vanadzor State University Continues University-School Visits
Within the framework of university-school cooperation, meetings aimed at students’ career guidance continue to be implemented.
The initiative is carried out by the University’s Department of Research, Innovation, and Cooperation, with the objective of supporting students in their career orientation and presenting the University’s educational potential and opportunities.
In this context, the University’s working group visited Vanadzor High School No. 13 on February 11 and Secondary School No. 18 on February 13.
It is noteworthy that university-school cooperation is of a bilateral nature: on February 20, Vanadzor State University hosted students and teachers of Vanadzor High School No. 11.
The working group included Rector Armen Tsaturyan, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences; Head of the Department of Research, Innovation, and Cooperation, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Armenuhi Harutyunyan; University-School Cooperation Coordinator-Specialist Aida Iskandaryan; Professor of the Chair of Armenian Language and Literature, Doctor of Philological Sciences Tereza Shahverdyan; Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Hermine Grigoryan.
During the meeting, students were introduced to the ongoing reforms at the University, admission requirements, academic programs, and the career prospects of graduates.
Such meetings, held on a regular basis, once again demonstrate that ensuring continuity within the education system and establishing a qualitatively new level of education are among the University’s strategic priorities.
