VSU Hosts Seminar on Current Issues in Labour Law
On 29 May, Vanadzor State University (VSU) hosted a seminar with the participation of employees from the Occupational Health and Safety Supervision Division of the Northern Territorial Center of the Health and Labour Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia.
During the seminar, participants discussed the legal provisions established by the Labour Code of the Republic of Armenia, the specific aspects of their implementation, recent amendments to the Labour Code, as well as the procedures governing the conclusion and termination of employment contracts. The discussion also addressed a range of issues concerning the rights and responsibilities of both employees and employers within labour relations.
The seminar was conducted in an interactive QA format, providing students with the opportunity to receive answers to their questions and gain a deeper understanding of the fundamental principles of labour legislation. Vanadzor State University students attended the event and actively participated in the discussions, demonstrating strong interest in contemporary issues in the field of labour law.
