Visit of the “Young Naturalist” Group to the Physics Laboratory of Vanadzor State University
On May 2, 15 pupils of the “Young Naturalist” group of primary school No. 8 visited Vanadzor State University. They were accompanied by Ruzanna Maleryan, Physics Teacher and Anush Shekoyan, Chemistry and Biology Teacher.
The “Young Naturalist” group includes 7th, 8th and 9th grade pupils who participated in a number of such experiments as electromagnetic radiation, electrolysis, electric circuits, mathematical pendulum, etc. The experiments were conducted by Haykuhi Tatulyan, a Lecturer at the Chair of Chemistry and Biology, and Aksanna Palyan, a Laboratory Assistant at the same Chair. The pupils also witnessed the electrostatic machine and the phenomenon of momentum.
During their visit, the pupils also got professional counseling: mainly they were interested in the science-oriented majors offered at the university. So, they asked the questions they were concerned about, and got comprehensive answers.
