Visit of Vanadzor High School No. 13 Students to Vanadzor State University
Within the framework of university–school cooperation, on December 12 Vanadzor State University hosted students from Vanadzor High School No. 13.
In the Laboratory of Inorganic, Analytical, and Physical Chemistry, the Head of the Chair of Chemistry and Biology, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Armine Ghazaryan, together with the chemistry teacher of High School No. 13, Anzhela Hovsepyan, conducted visually impressive and engaging experiments for the students, including the “chemical clock,” producing fire without a lighter, decolorization of a potassium permanganate solution, and others.
During the experimental activities, the students studied the properties of bases and acids, salts, and iodine.
At the end of the visit, a guided tour of the laboratories of the Chair of Chemistry and Biology was organized.
The students left the university enriched with new knowledge, positive impressions, and a strong desire to visit again.
