International Students’ Day Celebrated at Vanadzor State University

On 17 November 2025, Vanadzor State University named after H. Tumanyan celebrated International Students’ Day.

From early morning, members of the Cultural Center and the Student Council greeted students at the university entrance, offering warm congratulations along with symbolic gifts and sweets, creating a cheerful and festive atmosphere.

The festive event took place in the university hall, opening with the national anthem of the Republic of Armenia and the anthem of Vanadzor State University.

Acting Rector of VSU, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Honoured Pedagogue of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Tsaturyan, as well as Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Associate Professor Mariya Brutyan, delivered congratulatory messages on the occasion of Students’ Day.

The celebration featured performances by talented musicians of the university, the “Adelas” dance group, and gifted students of the guitar club. In addition, creative students presented a short performance illustrating student life both locally and internationally, sharing their experiences and insights from studying in different academic environments. As part of the event’s competitive segment, the game “Guess the Melody” was organized. The friendly contest between students and lecturers brought even more liveliness and joy to the atmosphere.

The University once again congratulates the students and wishes them new achievements and success in all their endeavours.
