University-School Ties

University-school ties have been developing at the university since 2005. Since 2014, the subdivision has been included in the department of cooperation, currently they are regulated in the Research, Innovation and Cooperation Department.

Within the frames of university-school ties, professional orientation among schoolchildren of Lori region is organized, providing materials and information about university life and educational activities, implemented educational programs, professions and opportunities to study abroad. University-school ties serve for the university’s strategic priority and are planned and implemented for each academic year. Cooperation is carried out with public schools, colleges of Vanadzor, Gugark and Tashir regions, Spitak, Stepanavan, Alaverdi. The educational, cultural and other events, carried out within the framework of cooperation, are organized through the joint work of all departments of the university.

The most important events are the following:

Free preparation courses for the entrance exams organized every year,

Subject Olympiads for schoolchildren,

Essay and photography contests regularly organized for the purpose of revealing creative abilities,

Armenian, Russian, and foreign poetry recitation contests,

Seminars, round tables,

Events of “Faculty Days”, “Professional Fair”, “Open Door Day”.
