Since ancient times, mathematics has played an important role in various fields of human activity; it has contributed to the development of human logic, proper reasoning, scientific and technological progress. In the curriculum of “Mathematics” implemented in current educational systems, great attention is paid to the development of logical thinking; it is formulated as the standard goal of mathematics. The latter should be included as an objective in the mathematics curriculum. By studying the interdisciplinary connections between mathematics along with natural science and humanities subjects, it becomes clear that the application of methods of proof and elimination is of great importance for revealing and emphasizing these close connections. By examining the interdisciplinary connection between mathematics and the Armenian language through the method of proof, it becomes evident that these disciplines can interact productively in the teaching of certain topics. For example, in mathematics, the formulation of a statement-its condition and conclusion and the distinction between them-can be illustrated through the structure of complex sentences with adverbial clauses of condition in the Armenian language. Conversely, the understanding of conditional clauses in Armenian can be clarified by drawing parallels with mathematical conditions and deductions.
