The Premiere of the Monoperformance “Sun, Moon, and Sea”

On December 4, the Vanadzor Poetry Theater founder and artistic director, actor, and reciter Jivan Sargsyan’s “Sun, Moon, and Sea” monoperformance took place in the hall of the “Vanadzor Hovhannes Tumanyan State University” Foundation.

Jivan Sargsyan, a graduate of the university, organized the premiere of the performance at his beloved university.

The director and screenwriter of the monoperformance is Harutyun Nasilyan. The monoperformance is dedicated to the life and works of the great Armenian painter Hovhannes Aivazovsky.

Sona Atikyan, an artist of the Vanadzor Poetry Theater, and Nvard Ginosyan, a first-year student of the “Dance Art” specialty of the Vanadzor branch of the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema, also participated in the performance.

The rector of the university, Rustam Saakyan, lecturers, students and artists of Vanadzor attended the event. At the end of the event, words of congratulations and appreciation were delivered by poet Manvel Mikoyan, a member of the Presidium of the Writers’ Union of Armenia, and University Lecturer, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Tereza Shahverdyan.
