The 13th Republican Conference of the Student Scientific Society was held on the Topic “Challenges of Science and the Scientific Potential of Young Scientists”
On May 15, the 13th republican scientific session of the National Academy of Sciences on the topic “challenges of science and the scientific potential of young scientists” was held at Vanadzor State University.
Rustam Saakyan, Rector of Vanadzor State University, hosted conference participants from the state universities of Yerevan, Shirak, Gavar, Goris, as well as the Eurasia International University. The Rector thanked the university representatives and students for their active participation in scientific and cultural events organized at our university.
The plenary session of the conference began with the anthems of the Republic of Armenia and VSU. Rustam Sahakyan made an opening speech. Varduhi Hovsepyan, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, and Lilit Hakobyan, Head of the VSU Student Scientific Society, also made speeches.
Armen Hovsepyan, a student at Yerevan State University, presented the topic “Church construction in Artsakh in the 17th century,” and Lilit Hakobyan, a student at VSU, presented the topic “The Inquisition in Medieval Spain.”
The plenary session continued in the Chairs. The largest number of reports was at the Chair of History: 17 reports. At the Chair of “Armenian Philology” there were 8 reports, “Biology and Chemistry” – 7, “Informatics” – 2, “Psychology and Sociology” – 8, “Jurisprudence” – 9, “Economics” – 4 reports.
At the closing of the conference, Rustam Saakyan presented certificates to all conference participants, once again thanking the students for their cooperation and the increase in the number of participants from year to year.
