Summary
Key words: value orientations, psychological counseling, unconscious sphere, emotions, feelings
The article explores the concept of alcoholism, as well as the social and psychological adaptation of individuals struggling with this addiction. Special attention is given to the role of workshops in the treatment process. It is proposed to use master classes involving various specialists as a method of rehabilitation. Such sessions help individuals express their emotions and inner experiences through art, often tapping into the unconscious. This is particularly important, as people with alcohol dependence often tend to fantasize about their relationships—frequently idealizing or dramatizing them. Key methods of social and psychological support include workshops, socio-pedagogical assistance, and psychological counseling. One important form of intervention is crisis prevention, which is especially relevant when addressing behavioral disorders that develop as a result of stress or traumatic events. The article also focuses on the underlying factors that undermine an individual’s psychological resilience. It examines the conditions that influence a person’s system of values and beliefs, which in turn shape their motivation and behavior.
