Representatives of Partner Universities from Slovakia and Bulgaria Visit Vanadzor State University
On 9 June 2026, Vanadzor State University hosted a delegation of researchers from the Bratislava University of Economics and Business, Slovakia, including Michael Augustin, International Cooperation Employee; Martin Karas, PhD student and researcher; and Rostislav Karakash. The delegation also included Pascal Zhelev, a researcher from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria, as well as Roman Karapetyan, Coordinator at the Faculty of International Relations of Yerevan State University.
As part of the visit, the guests met with Armen Tsaturyan, Rector of VSU and Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences; Lusine Kostandyan, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs; Lusik Vardanyan, Rector’s Adviser for Internationalization; Gohar Dokholyan, Head of the Center for Internationalization, Cooperation, Project Management and Public Relations; Anzhela Ter-Movsisyan, International Relations and Grants Promotion Specialist; the deans of three faculties; and Viktoria Harutyunyan, Head of the Chair of Economics, Law and Management.
The meeting focused on prospects for expanding inter-university cooperation and exploring opportunities for the exchange of international educational experience. Following the meetings and discussions, the international partners toured the University campus and visited VSU’s laboratories and library. The guests were particularly impressed by the library’s collection of rare books.
