The new academic year has commenced at Vanadzor State University

On September 1, Vanadzor State University named after Hovhannes Tumanyan held a solemn ceremony dedicated to the launch of the 2025–2026 academic year and the celebration of Knowledge Day. The national anthems of the Republic of Armenia and Vanadzor State University were performed. The university choir “Biaina” then had a musical number.

On this occasion, warm regards were expressed to the students, faculty, academic staff, and especially to the first-year students by Acting Rector of Vanadzor State University Rustam Saakyan, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Mariya Brutyan, President of the Student Council Erik Harutyunyan, and this year’s graduate of the Master’s program in English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Humanities, Arpine Hakobyan.

Ariana Khechumyan, a first-year student of the Faculty of Humanities, specializing in English Language and Literature, who achieved the highest admission score, took the ceremonial oath and received the symbolic Key of Knowledge. Remaining true to its traditions, Vanadzor State University warmly welcomed the freshmen and the entire student community.
