Seminar for Graduating Students
On December 18, a seminar was organized at the Smart Café of Vanadzor State University by Anush Simikyan, a coordinating specialist of the Human Resources Management Department for graduating students of the Faculties of Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences.
The seminar was titled “Employment Contract: Rights and Obligations of the Employee and the Employer” and was conducted by Arpine Saghumyan, Head of the Human Resources Management Department.
During the seminar, participants became familiar with the content of an employment contract and its main components. The subject of the contract, the rights and obligations of the parties, the duration of employment, forms of remuneration, as well as issues of the parties’ liability were presented. The processes of amendment, termination, and cancellation of the employment contract, the term of its validity, and the system for introducing electronic employment contracts were also discussed.
The aim of the seminar was to enhance students’ legal awareness and contribute to their preparedness for future employment relations by ensuring a correct understanding of the rights and obligations of both employees and employers.
