Movses Khorenatsi Medal was awarded to Elfik Zohrabian

Elfik Zohrabyan, a dramatist, story writer, lecturer at Vanadzor State University, and member of the Writers Union of Armenia, was granted the Movses Khorenatsi medal on Independence Day by the President of the Republic of Armenia in recognition of his noteworthy contribution to the advancement of culture. E. Zohrabyan is a multi-award winning artist from Vanadzor, a candidate for the Philological Sciences, a laureate of the Mark Twain International Prize, the winner of the William Saroyan International Literary Competition, the head of Vanadzor branch of the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinematography, and a senior lecturer at VSU with a diverse range of activities, including theater, cinema, literature, science, theater pedagogy, and more.

In 2024, E. Zohrabyan was the only recipient of the Khorenatsi Medal in the field of art. The entire staff of Vanadzor State University congratulates E. Zohrabyan and wishes him new achievements and professional advancement.
