The article examines the moral and psychological state of a person experiencing divorce and analyzes the problems, risks, and threats they encounter both during this period and after the completion of the divorce process. Divorce is presented as one of the most common consequences of family conflicts and crises, leading to the disintegration of the family system and significant changes in the usual way of life. In the context of losing emotional support and social stability, the individual faces heightened vulnerability, which requires particular attention to the dynamics of experienced stress and the challenges of adaptation. To gain a deeper understanding of the developmental trends of the modern family, as well as the causes of its weakening and disintegration, it is important to thoroughly investigate the factors contributing to family crises and determine how they transform into threats to a person’s psychological and social well-being. Identifying the risks and dangers accompanying divorce makes it possible not only to assess the extent of their impact on the individual but also to develop approaches for preventing and mitigating the negative consequences of this difficult life event. The analysis of the obtained data highlights the need to develop effective assistance programs for individuals experiencing such a crisis.
