International Students’ Day was solemnly celebrated at Vanadzor State University

On November 18, Vanadzor State University solemnly celebrated International Student Day. In the morning, the university and college students participated in arm wrestling and tug-of-war competitions in the university yard. University Rector Rustam Sahakyan awarded certificates to the students who showed the best results.

Afterwards, the university students, together with the rector Rustam Sahakyan, took a walk to Tagavoranist Hill. The Head of the Chair of Chemistry and Biology, Associate Professor Armine Ghazaryan, and the Senior Lecturer of the same Chair, Associate Professor Liliya Bayramyan, provided historical information about the hill, which is the confluence of the Pambak and Tandzut rivers. The Senior Lecturer of the Chair of History, Candidate of Sciences Benik Vardanyan, also talked the historical significance of the hill.
