Seminar “Emotional and Social Intelligence”

On July 26–27, 2025, Vanadzor State University held a seminar on “Emotional and Social Intelligence” for both staff and students. The seminar was led by Associate Professor Vanane Mirzoyan from the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, a participant in the Erasmus+ DeSIRe project. The purpose was to share insights gained during her training at Lappeenranta University of Technology (Finland) and to provide methodological resources.
The seminar gathered 34 students, 19 faculty members, and administrative staff. It explored the significance of emotional and social intelligence, key models in the field, their components, and their relevance to personal and professional life.
In addition to theoretical discussions, the program included interactive activities. Participants engaged in role-playing scenarios of pre-prepared problem situations, with active involvement from the audience to suggest alternative solutions.
The seminar was met with great enthusiasm, and attendees proposed holding such events on a regular basis.
