 Features of Professional-Applied Physical Training  in Medical Colleges

The work attempts to substantiate that the development of a methodology for professional-applied physical training of future medical personnel should be implemented taking into account its main goal of supporting effective professional training, the problems of physical education of female students, the fundamentals of professional-applied physical training in other types of educational institutions and the requirements of state programs for the subject of physical education in medical colleges. For this purpose, 72 special physical exercises were selected and localized, on the basis of which 9 complexes were developed, which also included moving games. As a result, 6 groups of nurses, midwives and pharmacists were formed to test the specially developed professional-applied physical training methodology, involving 235 female students. During the study, the following indicators were compared:

  • physical development characteristics: body height and weight, chest circumference and vital capacity of the lungs,
  • 6 indicators of movement readiness: muscle strength, strength endurance, agility, speed-power abilities, endurance, ability to maintain balance,
  • 3 indicators of psychomotor qualities: tremor, tapping test. concentration of attention and general working capacity.
