Students of the Specialized School with Advanced Instruction in Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Vanadzor Visited Vanadzor State University
On March 4, within the framework of university-school cooperation, Vanadzor State University hosted 10th-11th grade pupils of the specialized school with advanced instruction in mathematics and natural sciences of Vanadzor.
At the beginning of the meeting, welcoming remarks were delivered and the University’s development vision was presented by VSU Rector, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Armen Tsaturyan; Head of the Department of Research and Innovation, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Armenuhi Harutyunyan; Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Hermine Grigoryan; and University-School Cooperation Coordinator-Specialist Aida Iskandaryan.
In addition, a guided tour was organized for the pupils in the chemistry and biology laboratories, where they became acquainted with experimental opportunities and the practical learning environment.
The visit concluded at the Mergelyan Innovation Center (Smart Caffe), where the advantages of the modern educational environment, as well as opportunities for students’ self-directed learning and creative development, were presented.
