Vanadzor State University Faculty Team Awarded at the RA “Lecturers’ Cup-2026”

On February 6, the faculty team of Vanadzor State University participated in the RA “Lecturers’ Cup-2026” interuniversity sports games, organized by the Student Sports Federation of Armenia and the Armenian State University of Economics, and was awarded a prize.

Following the competition, members of the university’s faculty team met with the VSU Rector, Armen Tsaturyan. The Rector congratulated the participants, highly commending their active involvement, and wished them new victories and continued success in both their professional and athletic endeavors.

The RA “Lecturers’ Cup-2026” interuniversity sports games, held from February 2 to 6, brought together around 200 lecturers and staff members from 15 universities across Armenia. The VSU faculty team performed successfully in the shooting discipline, taking the third place in the team standings. The team included Zaven Evoyan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Arts and Sports; Mher Mkrtchyan, Lecturer, Shushan Mosinyan and Karine Siradeghyan, Lecturer at the Chair of Mathematics and Informatics.

The team also achieved success in the individual category: Karine Siradeghyan was awarded third place in the shooting discipline.
