Campaign for Raising Awareness in VSU

On November 6, students of VSU participated in the “Raise Awareness, Armenia” training program at the SMART Caffe of Vanadzor State University, which was conducted by Syuzanna Soghomonyan, Senior Expert of the Armenian Lawyers Association, and Armen Parsadanyan, Senior Expert on Digital Issues. The program was meant to help on identifying corruption-related cases, preventing and reducing corruption, as well as forming a public intolerance towards corruption. Through the unified electronic repoting platform launched in Armenia, citizens have the opportunity to report violations about corruption crimes online. 

Senior expert of the Armenian Lawyers Association, Syuzanna Soghomonyan, introduced the students to the unified electronic reporting platform and the rules for using it. Senior expert on digital issues, Armen Parsadanyan, presented how to report anonymously and how to protect the device’s IP address.

After the presentation of the material, the students, divided into groups, did practical work. They were given 2 hypothetical situations and the task of determining which types of signaling would be applicable in each case.
