On December 16, 2025, a concert of the VSU “Biayna” Choir was held in the hall of Vanadzor State University.

The event was attended by the University Rector, faculty members, staff and students of VSU. During the concert, works by Komitas, Khachatur Avetisyan, Kara Murza, Arno Babajanyan, Eduard Kzartmyan, Tatul Altunyan, and James Gyozalyan were performed, accompanied by Karine Yeritsyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of Arts and Sports. The choral polyphonic arrangement was created by the artistic director of “Biayna,” Sergey Harutyunyan, while the piano accompaniment was composed by Anahit Stepanyan, a former graduate of VSU and a former choir soloist.

The performances of the “Biayna” Choir once again demonstrate that national song art not only retains its vitality but is continuously enriched with new spirit and creative exploration. Through its activities, the choir remains faithful to the noble mission of preserving Armenian culture, presenting the pure and distinctive Armenian song tradition and passing its traditional spirit on to future generations.
