Solving typical physics problems is an integral part of a full-fledged school physics course. Over the years, these problems are reformulated, but their physical content remains the same. There are developed approaches to solving such problems, but there are also common and typical errors. Therefore, over time, it becomes necessary to pay attention to these errors, find out the reasons for their occurrence and develop some approaches to overcome them. Discussion of typical problems in the process of teaching physics is a constant and necessary process, so identifying typical errors and their possible elimination always remains relevant during training.
This paper considers such school physics course problems that were also presented in various exams. Taking into account the frequently repeated errors that we noticed when solving these problems, we tried to identify the causes and offer some approaches to overcoming them, which is the scientific and pedagogical novelty of the work.
In the first part of the work, some typical errors and problems, encountered in school physics, are highlighted using examples. The next part already presents typical errors made when completing test tasks with a choice of the correct answer. For all examples, a detailed analysis and possible ways to prevent and correct errors are given.
