Summer School working days

On June 24, participants of the summer school took part in a professional excursion to several historical and cultural sites in the Lori region. They visited the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF), the “Shakaryan Ranch” Enterprise, and the “Mountree” Hotel Complex.

The group also went on a hiking tour to the Kobayr Monastery, where they learned about the history of one of the region’s most renowned 13th-century monastic complexes.

On June 25, the fourth day of the summer school, lectures, group work sessions, and active discussions were held at the Smart Caffe of Vanadzor State University.
Participants shared their impressions of the professional excursion in Lori.

This was followed by the group work on the topics “Organization of Hotel Services” and “Tourist Experience and Environmental Design.” The group activities were coordinated by the Associate Professor of the Chair of Economics, Law, and Management, PhD in Economics R. Harutyunyan, and Founder of “TEN Management and Consulting” and Board Member of the “Mountree” Hotel Complex F. Amirkhanyan. As a result, participants presented their ideas and suggestions on the assigned topics. Through brainstorming and teamwork, they had the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical setting.
