New Cooperation between Vanadzor State University and the State Medical College of Vanadzor Aimed at Advancing Education in V

On 2 June, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Armen Tsaturyan, Rector of Vanadzor State University after H. Tumanyan Foundation, and Karine Ghukasyan, Director of the State Medical College of Vanadzor, a state non-profit organization. The agreement unites the efforts of the two institutions to strengthen the link between higher and secondary vocational education in the region. This new partnership aims to establish a sustainable platform for collaboration, within which joint academic, scientific, and medical programmes, research initiatives, and publications will be implemented, with particular emphasis on the “First Aid” training course. The parties also pay attention to the mutual professional development of staff and the dissemination of scientific expertise, which is expected to enhance the quality of specialist training.

Notably, the signing of the Memorandum was not merely a formal step; practical implementation began on the very same day. As the first initiative under this cooperation, Rector Armen Tsaturyan personally conducted a training seminar titled “Advanced Teaching as an Integrative Model of Education,” marking the beginning of long-term and productive collaboration. It is hoped that this initiative will make a meaningful contribution to the development of both the city and the educational system.
