Erasmus+ “MEDIA” Programme: Another Phase of Courses Concluded at VSU

On March 6, Vanadzor State University hosted the closing event of the third phase of short-term courses organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ grant programme “Enhancing the Quality of Online Education in Universities of Moldova and Armenia” (MEDIA). Certificates were awarded to participants who successfully completed the courses.

Welcoming remarks were delivered by Hermine Grigoryan, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Local Coordinator of the MEDIA project, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor:

“For us, it is important to observe the practical outcomes of this programme and its future development prospects. The new Law of the Republic of Armenia on Higher Education provides us with broad opportunities. The Faculty of Natural Sciences has extensive experience in this area: for many years, leading specialists of the Republic have been sharing their knowledge with our students through online formats. This significantly broadens educational horizons and enhances the quality of education. I would like to express my gratitude to both the instructors and the participants for their engagement in this important process.”

Certificates were presented to the participants by the programme trainers: Mariya Brutyan, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor; Armenuhi Harutyunyan, Head of the Department of Research and Innovation, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor; Lilit Parsadanyan, Head of the Center for Educational Reforms, Continuing Education and Career, Lecturer at the Chair of Foreign Languages and Literature; Viktoria Harutyunyan, Head of the Chair of Economics, Law and Management, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor.
